About Us
A warm welcome awaits you at this historic village church. Services on a Sunday are usually held at 10.45am. We have a style of worship that seeks to combine a variety of elements including traditional and more modern worship, so there should be something for everyone, and there's separate age-related teaching groups when needed. Different people lead the service each week bringing a variety of styles to our worship, and someone usually shares teaching for about 20 minutes.
We see prayer as an important part of church life and aim to be loving and non-judgemental. There are several activities which run during the week, including Cuppa@Carey, Boys' Brigade and Girls' Brigade.
Check out our Church Life section to find out more.
The church has met since 1676, and is named after William Carey who was instrumental in founding the Baptist Missionary Society, and was once minister here.
